Just to play the Old Course is a wish for every golfer, but the kingdom offers much more




Only arrived on the scene six years ago and is last becoming a must , hosting the Dunhill Links Trophy. Only six miles from St Andrews has a rich heritage to Links Golf in Scotland, ranked in the top 50 golf courses in the world.

Nesting in the East Neuk, Crail offers 36 holes it one of the oldest society in the world and the seventh oldest golf course. Old Tom Morris laid the original nine holes at Balcomie in 1895 and in 1998 Craighead was opened.


Providing itself on the venue for the final qualifying round of the Open 2005, this tight tree lined course is a challenge for all golf-ers.


Founded in 1817 it is the 13th Oldest Golf Club in the world. St Andrews Golfing Society ( now the R&A) took a leading roll in founding the club....


Just across the Tay/St Andrews Bay, Carnoustie produced the last Scottish winner of the Open 1999 Paul Lawrie.2007 Open a real test for all golfers.
